This course introduces programming and inventing using Micro:bits microcontrollers. Campers will use the online MakeCode development environment, Micro:bits, and hardware components to build their own games, circuits, and devices. Topics include:

  • Getting started with micro:bits
  • Sensors and actuators
  • Sounds and movement
  • Project design and final project

Additional Information

  • The CLS STEM+ Lab follows CDC and local COVID-19 guidelines. 
  • Camp includes use of computers and equipment in the CLS STEM+ lab in the Roanoke Higher Education Center.
